Ryan is part of a group of scientists that includes Emily Bernhardt, Marcelo Ardón, Justine Neville, Emily Ury, and Melinda Martinez in a short documentary film about the rapid die-off of coastal forests in eastern North Carolina as a result of saltwater intrusion and sea level rise. Includes interviews and drone footage of ghost forests in Dare and Hyde Counties, North Carolina.
